The Penn Museum
In the summer of 2025, I was allowed the honor to intern in the Penn Museum's Marketing and Communication department. During my time at the Museum, I wrote copy, organized a blog, created social media content, took photos, gave public talks, and more. While my social media reels can be found in the Advertising section of this portfolio, this is a compilation of the rest of my work.

Blog
My main project for the summer was to write a blog about the Internship program. This blog is used to advertise the program to other prospective interns. I interviewed and photographed 11 people from my cohort. Then, I wrote about their diverse department experiences, highlighting their tasks and accomplishments. Featured here is our intern group photo.
Daily Dig
Every day at 1:00 PM, the Penn Museum hosts 15 minute pop-up talks about an interesting artifact in the Museum. I gave a talk about the Greece Gallery's Marble Portrait of Menander, which is the bust of a celebrated playwright from ancient Greece.

Photography
I was tasked with taking my own photos for much of the copy that I wrote. I took pictures of the Museum's summer camp kids, various artifacts, intern activities, and events.

Copy Writing
One of my main tasks was to write copy for the Museum. I wrote artifact descriptions, advertisements, social media scripts, and more.

Social Media Content
As part of my guidelines for the summer, I was to create two social media reels to be shared with the Museum's various platforms. One of my reels showcased Daily Digs, while my other highlighted the intern program. Both reels can be found in the Advertising section of this portfolio.
